According to India's "Economic Times" reported that the BMW Group has announced that will begin in the Indian market, raised the price of all models early next year, price increases up to 10%.
BMW Group said in a statement recently that from January 1 next year, BMW and MINI brand's various models in the Indian market, the price will be raised, the increase ranged from 7-10%. The company noted that sales growth and profitability are a necessary condition for the ultimate win-win.
Back in August of this year, the BMW Group has been raised in the Indian car market price, the highest rate of 5%, given the company's explanation is due to a weaker rupee exchange rate, leading to rising costs of imported cars.
Currently BMW has launched a series of models, including the 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series and 7 Series sedans; X1, X3, X5 SUV and M Series Coupe, the price range of these models is 209 million rupees to 17.8 million rupees (about 33,400 to 285,000 U.S. dollars); MINI brand cars in the Indian market, the price range compared to 2.37 million rupees to 332 million rupees (about 38,000 to 53,000 U.S. dollars).
